I do this to my boys all the time…comb their hair like papas after the bath, and show them in the mirror.

Do you watch Game of Thrones? The third season is currently showing and I love it! This man plays John Snow.

Atticus turned 4 last weekend. We made his favorite cake with gummy worms, chocolate frogs (which I made with a mold), chocolate rocks and dirt made from crushed cookie crumbs. He loved it. Auggie cried when we brought the cake to Atticus instead of him. He said it was “the best birthday ever!” I made his favorite foods all day, ravioli, mushrooms, tortillas, guacamole, salsa and chicken. He even had a Coke with dinner, a very special treat for him.
I was telling him about the day he was born and how much I love him and I started to get teary. The love a mother has for her kids is such gift to feel. Atticus is very brave, strong and sweet. Yesterday on his way home from school he was racing his scooter down a hill so fast that the women walking with me stopped and gasped…I had to yell for him to slow down (he did have a helmet on). Nothing scares him. All the clothes his older brother wore at his age are getting small for him already. He is going to be a big boy for sure. He eats more than I do and has since he was 2. I call him my “eagle eyes” because if I ever ask him to find something, he does so very quickly. He is very physical and athletic too, having an older brother to keep up with has made him that way. He gives wonderful hugs and makes me laugh all the time. I am so happy he is part of my family.
